Adam & Tats Present : Big Swiss Wedding 25/07/26

Dearly beloved,
We’re very excited to welcome you all to our belated wedding party next summer.
For practical visa-related as well as romantic reasons, we actually already got legally married this august.
But we’d love to actually get to party with you all properly in our new habitat.
Scroll down to see more on the plan - this website will be gradually updated bit by bit, but we'd love you to RSVP if you can, very latest by  25 May '26.

Wirtschaft Ziegelhütte

We’re hosting at Wirtschaft Ziegelhütte in Zürich— a straightforward Swiss tavern on the hill with views over Wallisellen.

It’s easy to reach by tram, serves seasonal, local food, has plenty of space to host you all for drinks , speeches and extended partying.
Getting there
We recommed getting the tram number 9 to Schwarmedingerplatz.
For the Brits, we highly recommend downloading the EasyRide SBB Mobile app - this makes travelling in Switzerland a breeze.

🇬🇧 Adopt A Brit 🇨🇭

Lovely Swiss friends,
This wedding party is extremely exciting for us because our friends, our worlds will be colliding properly for the very first time.
We know our friends are the most amazing people and we thought a nice way of the Swiss properly mixing with the Brits would be for those Swiss who have a sofa or a spare room to adopt a Brit for a night or two.
This is totally voluntary and there is no pressure to, but if you're a generous Swiss who would like to adopt a brit to mention it in the comment of the RSVP with the following info:
number of people, nights and sofa/bed.
If you're a Brit who'd like to be adopted, please let us know in the comments on the RSVP form as well and will match you accordingly.
Again: there is absolutely no pressure to do so - we just love the idea of you getting to know each other during that stay! It's also a great opportunity to exchange puns, dark humour and prep them with your favourite Swiss sayings in advance of the party itself.

Registry

Many of you are traveling from further away, so your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for.
If you'd still like to contribute to our registry or honeymoon funds, please use the heart below.

Things to Do In Zurich

Uetliberg

Climb or get a train up the local 'Berg' for stunning views over the city & a sausage.

Swimming

Zurich has an abundance of places to swim . The lake, the river Limmat or Sihl, or various outdoor pools (Heuried in this image).

Kunsthaus

great selection of looted and non-looted artworks from the 20th century and before (sadly not this rendition by T Rüegsegger ca. 2001)

Niederdorf / Old Town

Zurich's old town follows the Limmat starting at the main station down to the lake and features many a great view point.
The view from the ETH, one of Zurich's two univerisites, is pretty spectacular, and there's a handy funicular railway (Polybahn) at the bottom of the hill.
Opposite the ETH and the University is the "Lindenhof" a little square, up a massive wall that forms the nucleus of the city of Zurich, estimated around 1500 BC.

Things to Do in Switzerland (further afield)

If you'd like to extend your trip to see us, we can heartily recommend the following places as firm favourites.

Lausanne / Lavaux / Canton Vaud

Lausanne is a great little city by the Lac Léman in the Suisse Romande - the French part of Switzerland. We particularly recommend stopping by Lavaux for wine lovers - not without a stop on the way from Lausanne at the "Plage de Lutry" for a dip in the most beautiful lake.

Plage de Lutry

Lavaux

Valle Maggia

Centovalli

Locarno / Valle Maggia / Canton Ticino

The Italian part of Switzerland: where most Swiss German heads to as soon as it gets a tiny little warmer!
Train lovers shouldn't miss the Cento Valli train - but be careful cause it does what it says on the tin! Cento Valli aka the 100 valleys is a train ride up and through the many valleys of Ticino. For those of you who'd like to do this by foot or bike, we highly reccomend Valle Maggia - one of the many valleys of Ticino, known for it's soft rocks, deeply green water and very old stone houses - get there via Locarno.

City trips: Basel / Bern / Luzern

Easy hop-on-a-train day trips from Zurich:
- Basel for a phone scrambling 3-country experience (and the rivalry between Zurich / Basel)
- Bern for an encounter with bears in a pit, the most stunning bridges and a hop in a river (also used as a public transport for work)
- Luzern for another beautiful Lake with an insane mountain panorama
